Operational Risk Control Specialist

About the role

This junior position supports the second line of defense for Operational Risk and Compliance within Global Wealth Management and related support functions. Working under the Head of Operational Risk Control, you will help monitor, assess, and report non‑financial risks while developing expertise in regulatory and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support Operational Risk Control and Compliance activities for GWM and support functions at the local level.
• Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the non‑financial risk framework in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in risk management processes such as RCSA, incident handling, Front‑to‑Back controls, and risk appetite monitoring, ensuring timely escalation of identified risks.
• Prepare and consolidate reporting, risk analyses, governance materials, and track remediation action plans.
• Assist with second‑level controls, thematic reviews (AML/KYC, fraud, suitability), and interactions with audit and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Experience in an international bank, audit firm, or a similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Arrêté of 3 November 2014, ACPR guidelines, Financial Activities Law).
• Ability to understand banking products, services, and the specificities of Wealth Management.
• Strong analytical mindset, results‑oriented, assertive, and comfortable in demanding environments.
• Fluency in both French and English.
