Project Manager – Yacht Refits & New Builds

About the role

Fraser is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead yacht refit and new‑build projects from its Monaco office. Acting as the owner’s technical representative, you will guide projects through design, construction and delivery, ensuring they meet contractual, regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the owner on new‑build and refit projects, coordinating with shipyards, designers, contractors and classification societies.
• Monitor progress, budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with contracts, industry regulations and quality criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers and change‑management processes.
• Lead the internal project team—including interior manager, engineer, surveyor and consultants—to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and quality‑control assessments on board.
• Prepare regular status reports for clients, highlighting risks, issues and upcoming milestones.
• Participate in FAT, HAT, SAT, delivery procedures and final acceptance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of project management experience in the yachting or maritime sector.
• Strong understanding of super‑yacht construction, engineering systems and regulatory compliance.
• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally and reside in Monaco or the surrounding French‑Riviera region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
