Remote Project Manager – Agentic AI

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end agentic AI initiatives. The role is fully remote and will involve applying classical waterfall and hybrid methodologies to deliver AI‑driven solutions on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close agentic AI projects using WBS, Gantt charts, CPM and Earned Value Management.
• Monitor progress with Plan‑vs‑Actual, CPI and SPI metrics and enforce formal change control.
• Identify and mitigate AI‑specific risks such as goal misalignment, token cost overruns, MCP downtime and unsafe tool calls.
• Coordinate internal AI engineers and external MCP vendors, managing capacity across multiple agent projects.
• Lead performance evaluations for ML engineers, MCP developers and safety testers.
• Run milestone reviews, change control boards and daily stand‑ups; maintain task boards, readiness checklists and documentation wikis.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven project management experience, preferably with PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Hands‑on experience delivering at least one production or pilot agentic AI project (e.g., autonomous customer‑support agent, multi‑agent workflow).
• Ability to discuss agent architectures, tool integration, safety guardrails and lessons learned.
• Strong structured thinking, accountability and proactive leadership.
