Remote Software Engineer (AI Code Evaluation)

About the role

Turing is seeking a Remote Software Engineer to help create and evaluate cutting‑edge datasets for large language model training. You will work closely with AI researchers to curate, correct, and benchmark code across multiple programming languages.

Key responsibilities

• Curate code examples and build solutions in Python, JavaScript (including ReactJS), C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
• Evaluate and refine AI‑generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve AI‑driven coding solutions against industry benchmarks.
• Develop agents that verify code quality and identify error patterns.
• Hypothesize and assess model capabilities across the software engineering lifecycle (design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance).
• Design verification mechanisms to automatically validate software engineering tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in building full‑stack, production‑grade applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, debugging, and code‑review processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear evaluation rationales.
