Senior Data Architect – Lead Data Architecture Strategy

About the role

As a Senior Data Architect you will lead the design and implementation of advanced data architectures that align with business objectives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and seamless integration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust data architectures supporting business and IT strategy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Maintain data models, flow diagrams, and metadata definitions.
• Oversee data governance policies to ensure quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex architecture issues and optimize performance.
• Forecast resource needs and project timelines with project managers.
• Stay current with emerging data architecture trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture or management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering data architecture strategies, data modeling, integration, and governance.
• Strong communication skills in English.
