Senior Financial Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

Mercur is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its AI research labs on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on ensuring the financial integrity of AI‑generated outputs and enhancing the quality of training data.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to guarantee compliance and precision in AI model outputs.
• Analyze complex financial data to improve the depth and rigor of AI‑generated content.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to refine training data quality and model performance.
• Develop benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial analysis tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to maintain consistency and relevance across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while continuously improving model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Proven experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to work remotely with a commitment of 10+ hours per week.
