Senior Software Engineer in Test (Java) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test with strong Java expertise to ensure the reliability of our distributed backend platforms. You will build robust automated test frameworks, design comprehensive integration and end‑to‑end test suites, and work closely with CI/CD pipelines to safeguard critical data flows for enterprise customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and suites in Java for distributed backend systems.
• Build and execute integration and end‑to‑end test coverage across multi‑component platform environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers to define testability requirements.
• Track and report on test coverage and release quality metrics.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 5+ years of experience using Java as the primary programming language.
• Deep knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release quality processes.
• Experience diagnosing defects and performing regression testing in distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
