SEO & Web Content Assistant Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated SEO & Web Content Assistant Intern to join the Communication & Recruitment team at the International University of Monaco. The six‑month internship, starting September 2026, offers hands‑on experience in optimizing a multilingual university website and supporting our digital marketing efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑page SEO optimisation, including metadata, headings, internal linking and page structure.
• Conduct keyword research and analyse performance using Google Search Console, Semrush and related tools.
• Monitor rankings, carry out content audits and provide SEO recommendations.
• Write and optimise blog posts, academic programme pages and landing pages in English.
• Assist in backlink acquisition strategies and competitive benchmarking.
• Collaborate with admissions, faculty and communication teams to align content with recruitment goals.

Required profile

• Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Marketing, Communication, Data/Analytics or a related field.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation.
• Fluent English with strong writing and editing abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, curious and comfortable working in a multicultural team.
