Skin Research Intern – In vitro / Ex vivo Testing

About the role

You will join a cutting‑edge skin research team at Coty, working on in‑vitro and ex‑vivo models to study skin aging and identify active ingredients. The 6‑month internship offers autonomy, training and exposure to real projects in a collaborative, science‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on skin biology and aging.
• Develop and optimise skin models using keratinocytes, melanocytes, fibroblasts and explants.
• Perform in‑vitro and ex‑vivo experiments to assess biological and environmental impacts.
• Analyse biological endpoints such as gene expression, protein levels and histology.
• Interpret data and share experimental results with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s student (Bac+5) in biology, cell biology or a related field.
• Seeking a final‑year internship in skin biology or life sciences.
• Some initial laboratory experience (cell culture, basic assays).
• Curious, rigorous and eager to learn experimental biology.
• Ability to read and understand English scientific content.
