About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with deep Java expertise to design and build distributed storage system components. You will work on a platform that powers data management for large enterprises, focusing on reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Java‑based distributed storage components.
• Implement consensus protocols such as RAFT or Paxos to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 5+ years of Java development in distributed or storage systems.
• Strong background in distributed storage architecture and design.
• Proven ability to lead technical direction across multiple teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
