Supply Chain Manager

About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager at SBM Offshore, you will act as the ambassador of supply chain within a designated area, translating group strategy into operational plans and supervising execution. You will manage budgets, resource allocation and ensure performance monitoring across projects and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation for projects and operations, partnering with discipline managers and regional teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key regional vendors, aligning with category management and supporting strategic sourcing.
• Align local initiatives with Group Supply Chain strategy, participate in group initiatives and provide feedback from projects.
• Manage talent within the team, ensuring competencies match business priorities, delivering performance feedback and promoting growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; relevant certifications (CSCP, CPSM, CLTD) are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in oil & gas or a similar industry, with proven end‑to‑end procurement, logistics and inventory management expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, customs and compliance requirements in the oil and gas sector.
