Video Content Coordinator – Digital Media

About the role

World Athletics is seeking a Video Content Coordinator to oversee the exploitation of digital media rights and support the creation of engaging video content for its global audience. You will work closely with internal video editors, external partners, and the Head of Digital Media to ensure high‑quality coverage of events across YouTube and World Athletics+ platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external video editors, including budget allocation for project coverage.
• Research, acquire, and implement digital technology and content resources needed by the department.
• Monitor World Athletics YouTube channels and provide strategic insights to improve performance.
• Develop and execute the overall content strategy for World Athletics digital platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with YouTube account managers, broadcast partners, and World Athletics+ partners.
• Coordinate event coverage with a focus on YouTube and World Athletics+ channels.
• Support digital partnership initiatives to maximize the value of video rights carve‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of digital media rights and video production workflows.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
