Mechanical Design Engineer (Monaco)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop reliable, cost-effective and safe mechanical solutions that support project execution and align with our strategic objectives. The position is office-based in Monaco and runs for an initial 12-month fixed term, renewable.

Key responsibilities

• Select appropriate engineering methods and procedures and execute mechanical design work.
• Develop concepts through detailed design, ensuring technical integrity, safety and constructability.
• Perform calculations and engineering assessments in compliance with international codes, regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate system interfaces across disciplines and manage interactions with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Deliver design deliverables on schedule and support technical reviews and design validation activities.
• Apply lessons learned and assess impact of changes across mechanical and system boundaries.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of subcontracting, supplier coordination and systems engineering interfaces.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and calculation tools.
