Cash Specialist

About the role

The Cash Specialist will optimise cash management and financial efficiency for SBM Offshore, a global leader in deepwater offshore infrastructure. You will ensure sufficient liquidity, produce accurate cash forecasts and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and report daily cash positions, explaining variances against forecasts.
• Optimise working capital by managing cash, coordinating with intercompany accountants and accounts payable, and overseeing dividend distribution.
• Prepare annual cash plans, three‑year cash projections and comprehensive cash plans aligned with project lifecycles.
• Assist in developing KPIs and tools to track cash‑management effectiveness, and continuously improve procedures.
• Maintain oversight of cash movements between entities to ensure compliance with contractual covenants and tax optimisation.
• Guarantee that all cash movements adhere to covenant requirements while minimising tax exposure.
• Engage proactively with internal stakeholders (Cost Control, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, executives) and external partners to align cash‑management strategies.
• Contribute to the enhancement of cash‑management systems and support remote locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
