Investment Research Analyst

About the role

Mercor is seeking an Investment Research Analyst to support its AI‑focused investment initiatives. This remote contract position involves evaluating financial models, market sizing, and deal opportunities for private‑equity investments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and improve financial models to enhance AI model outputs.
• Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analysis aligned with investment strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive investment summaries and memoranda for decision‑makers.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence processes.
• Process NDA and legal documents efficiently to support deal flow.
• Source potential investment opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private‑equity experience at top‑tier firms.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and market sizing/TAM analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to produce investment summaries, memos, and CIMs.
• Experience handling NDA/legal documentation and deal sourcing.
