Junior Trade Support Analyst – Risk Team

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Trade Support Analyst to join the Risk team of a leading commodity trading firm. In this fast‑paced environment you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and control of both physical and financial trading activities while gaining exposure to the full trade lifecycle, P&L reporting and front‑office interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily trade validation and ensure physical transactions are correctly captured in CTRM systems.
• Validate curves and pricing (spot/forward) according to internal procedures.
• Support end‑of‑day processes, including P&L generation.
• Conduct mandate and unauthorised trade checks and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor trade lifecycle events such as amendments, cancellations, invoicing and actualisations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and standards.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processing.
• Partner with the Front Office on new products and non‑standard trade approvals.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Risk Management.
• 1–2 years of experience using CTRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of risk metrics.
