Lead Financial Analyst

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. You will collaborate with AI research teams to ensure financial data used in model training is accurate, compliant, and of high quality. This role offers the opportunity to influence the financial rigor of cutting‑edge AI outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to guarantee compliance and precision in AI model outputs.
• Analyze complex financial data to enhance the depth and rigor of AI‑generated content.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and model performance.
• Develop benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial analysis tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure consistency and relevance across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while continuously improving AI model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
