About the role
Join SBM Offshore’s Mechanical Design Engineering team in Monaco as an intern and help develop an innovative oscillatory test bench for offshore swivel systems, a key component of FPSO weathervaning technology.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of an oscillatory test bench for offshore swivel systems.
- Perform mechanical design activities and create 3D models of the test equipment.
- Carry out engineering calculations and numerical simulations to size and optimise the bench.
- Support maintenance and reliability studies for critical offshore equipment.
- Collaborate with design, analysis, manufacturing and technology specialists.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Interest in mechanical design and offshore engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluent English.
