About the role

Join SBM Offshore’s Mechanical Design Engineering team in Monaco as an intern and contribute to the development of a next‑generation bogie system for FPSO weathervaning applications. You will work on a critical mechanical assembly that enables smooth rotational motion under harsh offshore conditions.

Key responsibilities

Participate in concept development and design of the new‑generation bogie system.
Create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using design tools.
Perform engineering calculations and finite element analysis to validate designs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to improve reliability, maintainability and overall system performance.

Required profile

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Required skills

Knowledge of mechanical design principles.
Proficiency with 3D design tools.
Understanding of engineering calculations.
Experience with finite element analysis.
