Project Procurement Lead

About the role

The Project Procurement Lead oversees procurement and supply chain activities for specific project packages, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality delivery of equipment and materials. This role coordinates with engineering, project teams and suppliers to meet specifications and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and tendering strategies in collaboration with Buyers and Category Managers.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and monitor purchase order execution.
• Track supply chain schedules, mitigate risks, and raise alerts for schedule, cost, quality or contract issues.
• Provide continuous feedback on vendor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing supply‑chain packages for complex offshore/onshore projects.
• Strong contract management and negotiation background, especially for high‑value technical contracts.
• Demonstrated project management skills with ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams under pressure.
