Senior Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Senior Corporate Accountant will oversee payroll‑related accounting operations and support a range of corporate accounting activities across the group and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant, this role acts as a vital link between Human Resources and Finance, ensuring accurate payroll entries, compliance, and seamless integration with the general ledger.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day corporate accounting for assigned entities, including invoice processing, bank and petty‑cash reconciliation, in line with IFRS and company policy.
• Contribute to month‑end close, prepare VAT reports, and support external audit preparation.
• Record, reconcile, and verify payroll entries; track provisions for leave, bonuses, and other benefits.
• Prepare cost‑allocation tables for salary expenses and process wage and social‑contribution payments for review.
• Verify social and tax declarations, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Participate in monthly and annual financial closings, produce payroll‑related reports, and support internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting and payroll accounting within an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and payroll tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams.
