Senior Investment Analyst – Private Equity (Remote, $130/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst with private equity expertise to support AI research lab investments. This remote contract role offers up to $130 per hour and requires 10+ hours per week for a minimum of four weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and provide insights to improve AI model outputs.
• Review market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses for alignment with investment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive investment summaries and memos to guide decision‑making.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence processes.
• Process NDA and other legal documents efficiently to support deal flow.
• Source potential deals and deliver strategic recommendations for investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private equity experience at top firms.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and market sizing/TAM analysis.
• Experience creating investment summaries, memos, CIMs, and conducting due diligence.
• Ability to handle NDA/legal documentation and source investment deals.
