About the role

The Banquet Coordinator internship at Fairmont Monte‑Carlo offers a hands‑on experience in the heart of Monaco’s premier luxury hotel. Working under the guidance of a dedicated tutor, you will support the banquet department’s daily operations and gain insight into high‑end hospitality management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with administrative management of staff, including planning schedules and tracking working hours.
• Support recruitment processes and the sourcing of seasonal and full‑time staff.
• Handle purchase orders for food, kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Manage internal communications, event BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and follow‑up on dossiers.
• Monitor compliance with hotel procedures and standards.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the department.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Business, Hospitality or equivalent degree program.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
• Organised, rigorous and proactive with a strong team spirit.
