Technical Superintendent – Yacht Management

About the role

Fraser Yachts is seeking a Technical Superintendent to join its yacht management team in Monaco. The role involves overseeing the technical condition of superyachts, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, and supporting major refits and maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain vessel compliance with Class, Flag, and Port State authorities and ensure appropriate insurance coverage.
• Manage technical failures, coordinate emergency responses, and liaise with insurers for claims.
• Monitor onboard maintenance, assess technical condition, and align performance with shipowner expectations.
• Plan and organise scheduled maintenance periods, develop work lists, and prepare tender documentation.
• Supervise shipyards and contractors during repair or maintenance, ensuring budget, schedule, safety, and workmanship standards are met.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide accurate maintenance budgeting.
• Develop and sustain a network of suppliers and contractors worldwide.
• Keep vessel documentation up‑to‑date and readily available for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the maritime industry, preferably within yachting.
• Broad knowledge of yachts and ships, including class and flag regulations.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
