Junior Accountant

About the role

We are an international organisation looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with month‑end reporting across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payments using online banking tools
• Record and process supplier invoices
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Reconcile customer and supplier statements
• Monitor petty‑cash balances and perform related reconciliations
• Review and follow up employee expense claims
• Support period‑end closing activities, including accruals, pre‑payments and balance revaluations
• Prepare documentation for external audits

Required profile

• Previous exposure to accounting or finance (internship or apprenticeship) is a plus
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Organised, reliable and proactive
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

Required skills

• Online banking tools
• Microsoft Office suite
• ERP or accounting systems (knowledge considered an asset)
