IT Strategy & Innovation Manager

About the role

As the IT Strategy & Innovation Manager you will define, lead and continuously evolve SBM Offshore’s corporate IT vision and multi‑year strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own and evolve the corporate IT Strategy and rolling 3‑Year IT Plan, aligning with company objectives.
• Translate IT strategy into executive‑level narratives with KPIs, scorecards and governance cadences.
• Develop and maintain Corporate AI Guidance, including vision, governance principles and decision frameworks.
• Own the business capability map and heatmaps to connect platforms and initiatives to value and risk.
• Lead the IT Innovation process, community and Emerging Technology Radar, ensuring alignment with corporate innovation framework.
• Prepare and present executive‑level materials and facilitate structured reviews with senior leadership.
• Monitor execution progress, benefits realization and risk exposure across strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team of two resources, providing coaching and performance management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Transformation, Strategy or Technology Management (preferred).
• 10+ years experience in IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture or Digital Strategy with leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience delivering multi‑year IT strategies and company‑level AI guidance.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure and Azure Data & AI platforms.
• AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
• Enterprise Architecture frameworks and certifications (e.g., TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL).
