Lombard/Mortgage Credit Risk Management Officer

About the role

The role works closely with Credit and Legal Departments to perform credit portfolio controls and reporting for Lombard and Mortgage credits, ensuring compliance with local and group requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse detailed credit transaction requests and submit them to the decision‑making competency holder.
• Perform periodic control activities for individual credit files and the overall credit book.
• Prepare non‑standard documentation for contract violations or court proceedings.
• Monitor distressed transactions and credit positions, coordinating follow‑up with stakeholders and supervising collateral shortfalls or excesses.
• Contribute to credit‑related projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree with a financial focus or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar banking role.
• Strong knowledge of Lombard products and the real‑estate market in France/Monaco.
• Sound understanding of mortgage and Lombard credit, legal and regulatory environments for impaired credit positions and recovery strategies.
• Meticulous, able to handle transactions from start to finish and work well in a team.
