Finance Expert – Remote Contract (up to $100/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Corporate Finance Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help AI research teams improve the quality of financial data used to train models, ensuring rigorous and accurate outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of financial models to strengthen reasoning in AI outputs.
• Review complex financial reports for alignment with domain principles and methodologies.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial tasks.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Professional experience in financial modeling.
• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to work 10+ hours per week on a remote schedule.
• Available to start in October.
