Senior Investment Analyst – Private Equity (Remote)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst with private‑equity expertise to support AI‑focused investment decisions. This remote contract position offers the chance to work directly with top‑tier investors and help shape the pipeline of high‑impact deals.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine financial models to improve AI model outputs.
• Conduct market sizing and TAM analysis to ensure alignment with investment theses.
• Prepare comprehensive investment summaries and memos for senior decision‑makers.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence activities.
• Process NDA and legal documents efficiently to keep deal flow moving.
• Source potential investment opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private‑equity experience at a top‑tier firm.
• Proven ability to build and critique financial models.
• Experience with market sizing, TAM analysis, and investment memo preparation.
• Hands‑on experience in CIM creation and due‑diligence processes.
• Comfort handling NDA and legal documentation.
• Demonstrated skill in sourcing and evaluating deal opportunities.
